An embodied and information experience designer, researcher, and lecturer with a rich expertise leading integrated innovation and interaction projects - bridging gaps between software, hardware, stories and bodies in motion. 

Specialize in designing for wearable, spatial and visual forms of communication.

My mission is to empower people by designing scenarios, interactions, artworks, products, processes, tools and techniques that enable natural and intuitive communication, learning and creation processes. I do so by integrating speculative design techniques together with hands on experience in scenography design, visual communication, interaction and data visualization .

What makes me kick is to experiment with emerging technologies, and then use what I discover to turn abstract concepts into magical realities through design.

Some past and present project I lead include - designing wearables and smart textiles for the extreme sports and first responders sectors; developing a virtual fabrication, site specific and mass customization tools for sustainable production of consumer goods; designing the wearable art for Transparent Borders, an award winning dance performance; developing Knitnet, an award winning machine learning IOT powered tool for textile makers.  

For the past 7 years I have also been working as an adjunct lecturer, building instructional contentteaching courses and workshops centred around design thinking, data visualization, urban design, circular economy, material driven research, interaction design, branding and visual storytelling.
